This road can be found on the South Coast of Crete. It’s one of the hairy roads of Greece with 16 hairpin turns and is dangerous because it’s a dirt road with many sudden u turns.
Aristi – Papingo road
This hairpinned road of Ioannina is one of the most famous in the world but also one of the most dangerous due to how sudden the turns are and the fast change in altitude.
Patiopoulo – Perdikaki road
This mountain road is over 23 kilometers long found in the Aetolia-Acarnania region. It’s a very steep climb or decent with many winding parts. In addition there are large pot holes making it difficult to drive on. Finally, the road is very narrow with a sheer drop on either side without any traffic rails, making it extremely dangerous.
Mountain Pantokrator – Corfu island
This pass is located on the tallest mountain of Corfu and is very dangerous because of the multiple turns and zigzags at 900 meters of altitude.
Mountain Kaliakouda – close to Karpenissi
This mountain pass is located at 2000 meters above sea level near Karpenissi. It’s one of the most dangerous roads in Greece because of the lack of safety barriers and the fact it’s a dirt road.

Prousos – Karpenisi road
This road found in Evrytania is said to be one of the most dangerous in Europe due to turns under rocks and potential landslides.
Kallikratis-Kapsodasos Road
This type of road is called a hair-pinned road because of its shape. The U turns on each side are called the hairpins. Such roads are incredible but always dangerous due to how sharply winding and steep they are. This one can be found at Crete.
Kotsifou Canyon
Kotsifou Canyon is a road going through a gorge in Rethymno, Crete. It’s dangerous because the road has a lot of ups and downs and zigzags.
