Skafidia
Skafidia is a village and a community in the municipality of Pyrgos, Elis, Greece. It is situated on the Ionian Sea coast, at the foot of a low hill. It is 1 km north of Leventochori, 3 km southwest of Myrtia and 11 km northwest of Pyrgos. Besides the beautiful beach with the clear blue waters, the place to certainly visit is the church of Moni Skafidias (10th cent.), and the fortress of the Middle Ages,named “Chlemutsi” .
