Chrani
The beach of Chrani is located in the homonymous area of the Messinian Bay and is 22 km away from Messini. The coast, that is one kilometer long, is full of sand and small pebbles, but the seabed is sandy. The seaside village of Chrani is 35 kilometers away from Kalamata. This is a small dreamy village. Near the beach of Chrani, you will find hotels, rooms and shops. Lovers of good food in the area will find many taverns with fresh fish and traditional dishes. Apart from the long beach of Chrani, there are many small idyllic bays, but you have to try to find the roads that lead you there.
Agios Andreas
The beach of Agios Andreas is busy and is a known resort of the Messinian Bay. It is about 40 km away from the city of Kalamata and 27 km away from Messini. The beach of Agios Andreas is 500 meters long and the coast has small pebbles and sand as all the beaches of the area. It is well organized and there you will find sun loungers, umbrellas, parking space and a canteen where you can buy water, coffee, soft drinks and snacks. Next to the beach of Agios Andreas you can find one of the organized camping sites of Messinia and a restaurant. You can also visit the archaeological site of the ancient temple of Apollo of Korythos or Korynthos next to the beach of Agios Andreas in the village of Logga.
